Classic Midwest supper club family owned since 1978

Welcome to Riverside Inn.

It all began in 1978 when our family decided to sell everything and move away from the big city of St Paul to enjoy the small town charm and scenic beauty of Crosslake.

We wanted to find a restaurant where we could work and live and raise a family. After months of searching all over Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin we heard about Riverside from friends who had a cabin on Cross Lake. We knew how beautiful the area was and it seemed like the perfect place for us.

So after a summer of living in a camper on the lawn of our friend’s cabin, we finally took ownership of Riverside on August 4, 1978.

We have learned and grown on the job. Riverside is our life’s passion and we enjoy welcoming our guests to our home each and every day and we appreciate all of the support we have been given for over 40 years.
